AI implementation in Utah
The best AI implementation consultant for a mid-sized Utah company is one that has put a working system into production, can sit in your building and watch the work being done, and tells you who will do the build. Evata Consulting Group, led by Jared Clark in Salt Lake City, builds and deploys AI systems for companies of 50 to 500 people. We start with one process that costs your team the most hours, usually document review, data entry or drafting, and we finish with a system your people use.
What to ask
Ask these of any firm you talk to, including us.
Ask what is in production at a customer today, what it does, and how long it has been in use. A demo tells you less than a system people rely on.
Get names. Ask whether the people in the sales meeting do the work, or whether it passes to someone you have not met.
Calculations, approvals and signatures should run in ordinary code. If a firm wants the model doing all of it, ask how they test it.
Agree the measure before the build starts, such as hours spent on the process or the time from receipt to entry.
Models and your processes both change. Ask who maintains the system after launch and what that costs.
Much of a process lives in people's heads and in spreadsheets nobody mentioned. Watching it done is the fastest way to find that out.
What we have built
We describe them without naming the customers. More detail is on our AI for document review page.
Customer purchase orders arrived by email and were retyped into an order tracker. Now each email is read by OCR, an AI model turns it into a structured order, and the workflow writes it to the tracker.
An on-premise system for document control with electronic signatures, inventory, training and batch records. AI extracts specifications from source files and drafts master manufacturing records for a person to review. Approvals, signatures and batch calculations are ordinary validated code, with no AI in them.

Yes. We prefer to see the process in person when the company is within reach, because watching the work shows us things a call will not.
